WDAM Update.  Full registration for the Wisconsin Division Annual Meeting will be $145 for the weekend and will include 4.5 hours of workshops, four meals, the business session, Friday night activity, and loads of networking and fun!  The room rate is $99 and all rooms have a fridge and a microwave.   Our raffle room will again display dozens of fabulous baskets and other gifts, all to be won by the end of the weekend.  Conference dates are May 18 & 19 at the Holiday inn Convention Center in Stevens Point.

 

Green Initiative at WDAM. CELL PHONE RECYCLING! Recently, the Division has added elements to our events that center on recycling, reducing paper use, etc.  These include the book/CD/DVD sales and posting documents on the website rather than including in the attendee packets.  This year we are asking for any and all cell phones that members (and their family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc.).  We will collect these in Stevens Point, send them to a recycling company, and the money raised will be split between the division and the EFAM 2014 host committee.  We don’t need chargers, cases, etc. – just the phones!  A cash prize will be awarded to the chapter donating the most cell phones (based on number of chapter members).  Watch for a flyer coming out soon!

This program takes us beyond “Stress 101” sessions that describe the fight-flight response and how to relax, exercise, talk with friends and do the basic wellness skills. The Energy Director System helps you develop your own stress management approach to handling the kind of stress you have in your life. You will develop your own strategies for transforming stress into power—your way.

This is a 60 minute presentation on how to handle the stress in your life - both at work and at home. By analyzing your energy type, and your co-workers, you will learn how to handle any situation.

Short Bio on Presenter:  Michael Finazzo is an Employee Assistance Program professional with over 28 years experience in administration, planning, consultation, personal coaching,  training and seminars, marketing, sales, and career transition coaching, with small to large organizations. Effective interaction with top-level leadership as well as the general workforce.  Michael is the President of Windward Employee Solutions, Inc , Portage, MI  from 1996 to present.  He etablished to assist organizations in developing strategies for effective intervention with workforce concerns. Provide EAP, consultation, crisis debriefing, and coaching services for organizations from 25 to over 1,000 employees. 

This Chapter meeting we also install the 2012-2013 Board with a ribbon ceremony.

Dinner is a potluck provided by the members.  The Board will provide ice cream and toppings for dessert.
