Accounting 101 Cram Session                               Thursday, February 16

                                                                                         11:45 am – 1:15 pm

As an admin, you hear the jargon every day… “What’s the ROI for this project?” “The payback must be less than 2 years.” This project will go straight to the bottom line.  EBITA, FASB, GAAP, margin, IPO, Sarbanes-Oxley…”  What’s it all mean and how can I better understand what they are talking about?  This lunch hour program will help you

  • Increase comprehension of basic accounting terminology
  • Understand what income statements and balance sheets portray
  • Evaluate the financial status of your organization

And much more.

Our presenter, Mike Schmitt, CPA, holds a BS degree in Accounting from Notre Dame University, and has more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience, beginning as an auditor for PriceWaterhouse, rising to CFO for several firms. He is currently a partner and financial advisor on the Hartmann-Ryan Team at Cassidy Turley.
